Travelers from distant Earth have arrived on a planet close to one of Earth’s nearest stars to escape the horrors of the degrading and deteriorating world they left behind. 250 years ago, humans ran out of resources on Earth to build a spacecraft capable of coming back. Now, “Travelers” have found a way to make it to this familiar ‘frontier’, but do not realize that what they are coming to is not what they expect. This new ‘star-base’ home brings a harsh climate with it on the surface, but underneath there is breathable oxygen, limited accessible resources, as well as lots of unique forms of biological life. Humans originally came to the star in 2166 after traveling nearly 130 years on the very first interstellar human spacecraft. Once they had reached this new home, all forms of communication were lost and help (if at all available) is light years away.
